perfect, Onterrio Smith averaged nearly 5 yards a carry over 2 years in the league...sooo....?
he was caught 3 times failing a test for marijuana and was also caught using a device to help mask the drug...thats why he got a 1 yr suspension. so my question is, whos he really harming? do u think the young kids even really knew about Onterrio Smith smoking weed? especially if he wasnt being persecuted for it in the media? nah they would have no idea, they would just see the avg NFL RB..
im not saying the owners are wrong (maybe i am) but whoever makes the rules is on some Harry Anslinger shyt
Onterrio Smith is from Sacramento and was a beast during his H.S. days.Which is why I think he was a huge bust. He had a huge following including a lot of the young kids here. Then again, nikka fukked up while he was at Tennessee with his h/s teammate Donte Stallworth. I'm sure Oregon looked the other way when he was there. The shyt he did in the NFL was the icing on the cake. All of his issues from college to the pros was because he couldn't leave the weed alone.
If he had a work ethic when he got to the Vikings and avoided the marijuana , dude would've been a pro bowler.

regardless of all that, dude averaged 4.9 yrds a carry over 2 years with the Vikings had like 13 TDs total (fumbled 3 times...probly high at the time right?)...thats not a bad back, u and many others may have thought he was gonna be better than Walter Peyton (exaggeration) but sometimes it doesnt pan out that way, whose to say the weed was making him a worse RB? Ricky Williams was a great weed smokin RB lol its on the person, not marijuana and the league is awful hypocritical as i pointed out in my last post.

The thought process is, 1. NFL star smokes weed 2. Kid sees said star is making money and smoking weed 3 Kid thinks he can play football smoke weed but finds out he doesnt have the talent and is a bum the rest of his life cus he swore he was the next Ricky Williams.....If u really believe this happens, u believe that ppl go out, watch a violent movie then go out and commit violence as if there are no other influences on that kids life

i think weed should be legal i'm not anti-weed. i'm anti stupidity. don't throw away an opportunity that not many have, that can change your and your family's lives over weed. it's just stupid.
The answer is simple just like @portcityplaya said. The shyt is illegal, plus if you get caught outside of an nfl drug test depending on the amount, you have a much bigger issue on your hands from an organizational standpoint.

What is basically comes down to is these top tier NFL prospects still in college think they're invincible.
They think that because they get to put a helmet on and walk out in front of 90,000+ people on Saturday, that they're above the law. They can't be touched. They're not like you and me. They walk around with their heads up high, sticking their chest out, and think they're hot shyt. Like we should all bow down to them.
They don't think rationally, because they basically feel as if the same rules don't apply to them as they do to us. And really, can you blame them?
NCAA is so dirty with all these players basically having to forego education so they can lift weights and practice with their teammates either ridiculously early in the morning or until very late at night. Not to mention possibly getting paid under the table (i.e. every single player on the Florida football team having a scooter ).
They probably have the mentality of "fukk it, the University/AD/local PD will protect me because they know who I am." shyt sucks, but it's the truth. Guys think just because they get a crucial Pick-6 on Saturday that they can't be touched.
