What is basically comes down to is these top tier NFL prospects still in college think they're invincible.
They think that because they get to put a helmet on and walk out in front of 90,000+ people on Saturday, that they're above the law. They can't be touched. They're not like you and me. They walk around with their heads up high, sticking their chest out, and think they're hot shyt. Like we should all bow down to them.
They don't think rationally, because they basically feel as if the same rules don't apply to them as they do to us. And really, can you blame them?
NCAA is so dirty with all these players basically having to forego education so they can lift weights and practice with their teammates either ridiculously early in the morning or until very late at night. Not to mention possibly getting paid under the table (i.e. every single player on the Florida football team having a scooter
).
They probably have the mentality of "fukk it, the University/AD/local PD will protect me because they know who I am." shyt sucks, but it's the truth. Guys think just because they get a crucial Pick-6 on Saturday that they can't be touched.
