Aint it crazy how far an NFL prospect can fall over smoking pot?

Sure it’s stupid for players to leave money on the table by smoking pot and getting caught up but how stupid are the teams for passing on these players over a harmless habit? where are the repercussions for drafting Percy Harvin, Aaron Hernandez, Randy Moss, Michael Irvin or Warren Sapp? is there really a bad history of dope smoking players causing problems in the NFL?

Sometimes these cacs put too much emphasis on little things and pass up on the greats...

im not a smoker and never will be but, im sure 80% of the college players going pro are smokers so that shouldnt be a determining factor, but you dont want a pothead either because their ass will be flunking drug test, which ultimately effects the team

it's more about getting caught than smoking itself when it comes down to it. if a player is cheefin every day, yet has no record, performs every time, practices well, and is not careless about displaying his habit (through laziness, misplaced priorities, and so forth), coaches wouldn't think twice about picking him if he's a top player.

When owners/GMs/Team Presidents are shelvin out millions of dollars in salary to players. They in essence have a say into their workforce being drug free. I would be reluctant to pay a dude 10 million a year if I knew dude smoked weed.

Tyran Mathews is a dumbazz and ultimatley a dopefein. This nygga was a potential top 10 draftpick, potential heisman candidate. But he couldn't for the life of him stop smokin weed. Lke gatdamn man, u really can't stop smokin? with all the opportunities in front of u?

The question is: What's more important, weed or money & football? Some dumb MFs choose weed

I'm an avid Pot Smoker but if someone is paying me millions and part of the stipulation is not smoking pot THEN I'M NOT SMOKING POT. At least not until the off season. I sort of get it doing it in college cuz pot smoke is part of the culture on most college campuses and your not getting paid, but in the pros, NAH!!

Yeah, as has been said in here already I don't think this is ever an issue unless the player gets BUSTED. Because mad players blow big on the low.

I used to read about that former Clippers squad ALL blazing....I dunno about before games, but they def'nitely blazed. Lamar, Q, Darius Miles...ALL them nikkas stayed burnin' trees.

Mad NBA players smoke/smoked weed. Chris Webber? STAYED on tilt.

u see how fukked the league and in some ways society is in general with these kinds of rules/regulations

theyre gonna ruin a guys career over weed and then look the other way when people are damaging their bodies with steroids/PEDs/pain killers, or going on the field injured? fukk all them rich crackas runnin things man...lol for real tho.

and to ppl saying "ur investing in a pothead...", i bet u more players smoke weed than u realize (the ones already established as mainstays). they may do it on the offseason or when they know they wont be tested but if you think these guys arent toking up (responsible weed smokers? ya it happens)....ur lying to urself, they just dont get caught. ppl doing coke and shyt out there drinking and ur worried about weed
