Yawn... My post was more centered around perception about Mrs Harris. Craig Watkins was a D.A in Dallas that was beloved in the community and respected as a crusader for victims and advocate for innocent people unfairly convicted by the system.Stop putting words in my mouth.

well just speak on them then. you made a direct comparison on her career and "resume" like you knew what you were talking about, you didn't say anything about perceptions until facts were placed in front of you lmao. good night.

People are running with takes that they are repeating from other people, not views that they arrived at independently.
That's why there is so much inconsistency in comments.

i know, lol it's sad but i entertain it every now and then... good exercise to keep my critical thinking skills on point :pachaha:

oh they made GOOOODT money off those. was going for $150 i believe, sold out before the blogs even posted it. resale is going for like $300.

i'm sure she knew about it though, because the designer tagged her when he dropped it and the proceeds are going to charity
hypebeasts make me sick. It's literally a hoody with Kamala's graduation photo screenprinted on it. You could get that done at the flea market for 15 bucks.

haha, me too. that's why i'm only a part-time hypebeast

but nah, i think fear of god would at least use a good material/fit. not all fabrics and fits are created equal

plus you totally forget proceeds go to charity. run that shyt up:yeshrug:

I get it. Some shyt that is hyped up I can definitely understand and agree that it looks cool. But i can't get with this. There's literally nothing design wise worth hyping up with this hoodie. Just a pure money grab from FOG.

:stopitslime: Resume as a community advocate or freedom fighter of sort in comparison to the two names mention. If that's hill you want to die on so be it. It's crazy in the second post you tried o categorize me as being against black people becoming prosecutors. District attorney is a hard job. Given our history of systematic racism in law enforcement it requires a balancing act when preforming your job.You can have good one's like Craig Watkins or status quo types like Jackie Lacey. Goodnight. Be safe.

well my very first words were that a prosecutor itself was very important. so if you gonna try to rebut me by saying she's wasn't as good as a prosecutor turned defense defense attorney, you already missed the point.

as far as the other part, would they have held up their "perceptions" in a presidential race rather than the local da? im pretty sure kamala was thought of as a "good one" before ... which i get it, it's a pres election, you have billions of dollars invested in making you look like shyt and people get to tweeting catch phrases and choose which media they want to believe. i've read opinions both saying she was bad, and then i read points rebutting it. her book on the law ten years ago gets great reviews, her book wrote on politics last year, not so much. typical media media-ing. you choose what you believe and we can agree to disagree about whether the perception matters these days. even back in the day you forget.... they hated jesus, hated malcolm, hated martin. time will tell :yeshrug:

so much for good "perception".... all you have to do is google and there would def be some people calling these people some form of c00n if they ever dared run for president :stopitslime: dont at me about this, lol you are obviously biased. they have way worse press than kamala and they dont even have a huge spotlight on them

The right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way
sigh

nikkas allowing blatant disrespect to their ancestors in the name of political pandering

i dont even care for the "she's a black woman making history". its not as if she got there on her merit and because the people wanted her.
she was trash and no one wanted her. and she got picked for vp for pandering purposes.

i would sock somebody out if i seen kamala harris' name next to harriet on their shirt

That is the most shocking thing about this thread. Dudes truly don't give a fukk. They embrace the disrespect.
