2nd ep was pretty good way better than the pilot.
I haven't watched the 2nd episode yet, but most of the people who complained about the pilot gave B.S. reasons of why they didn't like it.
The pilot alone requires a huge amount of suspension of disbelief. A nikka who knows his shyt would have to turn off his brain for it.
Everyone should be dead. The premise is that the entire industrial infrastructure goes bye-bye, by what appears to be some magical fiat. But most of the western world is at population levels that can only be sustained with industrialized agriculture, refrigiation, industrial nitrogen fixation, phosphate mining, mechanized tilling, ect, ect. So the logical consequence is that the world gets eaten, yep even unto total ecological collapse, with everyhing that can be caught by hundreds of millions of starving people going extinct via cookpot until everywhere suffers Haiti levels of damage to the ecosystem, and any surviors would be post-traumatic stress basketcases schrounging amoung piles of skulls that only made it through the population crash via cannibalism.
I've already seen science fiction shows that laid better ground work in the pilot. It's a trash show that started with no logic on top of some lame actors (minus Giancarlo) that's gonna get canceled like Terra Nova did.
Name them.
Alphas
Firefly
Dollhouse
Sliders
But the best of them was Neg Rep.
Show's not gonna be any good as long as that girl is the star. That character is incredibly annoying, and she isn't much of an actor.
once they hook up with the brother it should shift to the uncle/monroe/fringe
it kinda reminds me the 4400 a little how the first few episode it looked like the 2 cousins would be the main charaters at first
