After Saturday's victory against the Orlando Magic, James had a "meet and greet" with billionaire Carlos Slim.
James and Helu held the meeting over dinner at Soho Beach House on Miami Beach.
"He picked up the tab," James said. "He had more people than me there. It was just four of us. He had about 25."
Helu has an estimated net worth of $76 billion. While James said the two have recently become friends, the meeting was also to discuss possible business ventures.
"It had something to do with other than just meet and greet," James said. "We'll see what happens. I don't like to talk about things before they get rolling but there is some interest from both parties."
this is why they work so well together. neither one needs more than 15 shots to put up their numbers.
it's easier to split 30 shots between two player than it is to give 2 players 30 shots each. which is why melo and kobe and the nets always struggle with their super teams.
with melo or kobe's percentage if they only shot the ball 13 or 14 times they make about 5 or 6 of them and end every game with 12-15 points.
Im glad to see spo using the bench more this year, even if its only to rest some of the older guys. Everyone can come in a give good minsIn all seriousness though, Spo is a very good coach, even with this talented roster.
