So I get a print of a Digital art, no ownership or copyrights and airdrops (which from my very shallow knowledge sounds like just an added component of nothingness)??

What makes it likely to increase in value though?
Sometimes not a print sometimes the digital art housed in a digital frame. How can you say airdrop is nothing then say you don't know what it is? And the same things that make traditional art increase in value is the same thing that makes nft increase.

You nikkas are obsessed with things being "scams". Every other group is out here getting money and putting it into real estate. Get with it or get left behind. The same folks crying scam will be whining about increased income inequality 15 years from now.

Yes getting money from more reliable and stable sources of income but not nfts.Nfts like the bored ape have no long term tangible value.

So why is it not traditional art then? Why not just sell it as you would traditional digital art? Why the NFT medium. What’s the benefit to that? I guess that’s still the question for me.
That's like asking why sell prints, why not just sell originals. It's a different medium of distributing art. Also an avenue for photographers and digital artists. Unfortunately selling photos for photographers and art for digital artists was extremely difficult, nft opened the doors.

So it’s merely an different avenue to distribute art ect. Like buying stock photos? Okay. I can accept that.

Not actually true. If you buy a kaws print you don't own the rights to the original. If you buy a banksy print you don't own the rights to the original. And even when you buy originals you still don't own the rights. You own that one canvas painting but not the rights to the image.
Buying a print and buying the original art are two completely different things. The difference in value between the two are astronomical in high quality art. The value is in the fact that it was in fact created by that person, not just that the piece you have was an “idea” of that person. If I recreate Reasonable Doubt in my home studio with the same beats and lyrics, even if I sound exactly like Jay-Z, it doesn’t have the same value as the masters for Reasonable Doubt. Nor does a print of a Picasso have anywhere near the value of the original painting.

Breh. How does what you said in anyway relate to what I said? I'm talking about prints made by the artist and it seems like you're talking about counterfeit prints. And at no point did I say prints are worth the same as the original.

I didn’t say anything about counterfeit prints. I thought we were talking about high quality art and the prints available to the public. If I buy a print of “The Scream” it’s not counterfeit, but it’s also not the original painting. Someone, I’m sure, is licensed to sell it. And the only reason I’d buy the print is because the popularity/quality of the original.

The context of this whole conversation is the idea of “investing” in NFTs and understanding the value in them that justifies this investment. I’m still not seeing the value. If someone pays a million dollars for a painting, it’s usually because it’s one of a kind, skillfully painted and they get to display this for themselves and their guests to see on a daily basis.

What is the equivalent for NFTs? What are you doing with an NFT after purchase that puts it in the same category as art? Will this have some increased value as the metaverse becomes more prominent? Can you hang a buck breaking NFT on the wall of your Metaverse home for your meta guests to see? How are NFTs used, even if it’s like art that is hung in a wall, or a statue that is place in front of a building, or music that is listened to. How do you “enjoy” an NFT?

Show me where you can buy an authentic print of scream. Not a licensed poster but an authentic print.

Bruh… I’m done. I’m asking you simple questions and you ignore my questions to get into some irrelevant detail that takes us further away from the original point. And for this reason people will continue to call it a scam. Even if it isn’t. nikkas talking in circles when you know what they mean.
