Larry Holmes is one of the goats...I don't think that anyone that knows boxing really questions that.

The smilie isn't really all that serious. Dude was one of the goats, made cacs mad by disrespecting Marciano, had the second best heavyweight jab ever (Ali = Goat), one of the GOAT moments of fukkery by landing a drop kick off an automobile ...........but he eventually became flabby and sick....

But yeah, that shyt with Ali is real . I've not seen that 30 for 30 yet, and I'm not sure if they show it, but during the fight there are times when he's looking at the ref, and although he's not saying anything, you can tell that he's practically begging for him to stop the fight....

that holmes-ali 30 for 30 is one of my fav 30 for 30 episodes but it is sad to watch because you saw ali was clearly damaged by 1980 and no one said shyt about it and let him continue..that holmes beating pushed him over the edge into what you see today

2nd best jab in Heavyweight history. I remember being a kid rooting for Gerry c00ney to beat Larry because I was mad that he beat Ali. My father slapped the shyt outta me in the face. Wasn't until years later I realized my father's slap was outta of pure blackness due to how much race played a factor in the build up in that fight and I was too young to get it at the time.

Larry beating c00ney meant a lot to the average niqqa.
