Yeah. I'm in a nontouristy area and coming from the DR to Colombia was like coming from Jackson MS. to New York City. shyt is way more developed and people have more money but People are way nicer in the DR.

You could argue that it's because they have to be but they were more welcoming and open always inviting you to kick it at a house party (however this was during COVID lockdowns) in Colombia I've been invited to a few parties but it's not the same.

I said the said thing, it makes sense to me, cheaper than going to Miami and even Vegas.

That's one thing that stood out to me about the DR. I've never been there but have a lot of friends that have and they all say no matter what, the women in DR always try to look their best.
