It's interesting how AIDS and Crack came out at the same time in the 80s. I think there was a greater construct/purpose behind those and it all has to do with getting rid of "undesirables" as population control. I mean, who the hell could actually conceive some that the origins of AIDS came from Africans having sex with monkeys (supposedly, I don't buy that). That in itself lends to that stereotype of Africans being unruly and uncivilized and sadly many people bought it hook line and sinker.
I just think that was just an attempt to diffuse the general power of black people through statistics and propaganda and to discourage non-blacks from having intercourse black people (black men in general).
