I actually listened to an M Knight interview on stern the other day and he said something like his movies have generated over a Billion dollars for whatever studio distributes his films. So that right there answers the question of why he still can make movies. Even his shytty movies like The Village made like 200 milli internationally.

I think people were just mad as fukk that they were fooled by the Village and never forgave dude since.
