This guy is full of shyt I swear. I was also inbetween jobs years back and Obamacare was affordable as fukk. Low monthly premiums, low co pays. Thats how it should work, once you find employment and make above a certain wage, the subsidies go away and make it more expensive.

Right? And I think that's how it works now. I've been buying insurance through the market since 2019. In 2023 my mom had stage-four cancer and I didn't work in order to take care of her, and I got a big tax credit to help pay for my insurance through the market. In 2024 I started working full time hours again, and I paid more of it out of my end this year.
