After all the hype and speculation all these decades, was the start to WWIII kind of underwhelming?

I mean...people always thought it would be this epic moment in which all these countries declared war on each other in the same week or some sh*t but in reality we kind of just slowly shifted into it with military conflict spreading around the world to countries piecemeal with intervals of a few months/years.:ld:
The Tyson/Jake Paul fight had more hype than North Korea moving 12.000 troops to the border of Europe :yeshrug:

Who y'all got winning this new WW? :jbhmm:
First, you need to prove your point that WW3 is actually happening. No reason to argue beyond this point actually being confirmed.

While sanctions haven't been very effective against Russia, the value of the Ruble has been declining lately
The timing is perfect though, because Trump will reverse the sanctions on Russia, but that will hurt the American natural gas companies who were making money off the war by stepping in to sell to the European union countries.

So they'll have a stronger ruble, access to American dollars again, AND an improved relationship with China, also they'll probably get Ukraine and so they'll have a major world grain producer that they can use to get their way. They can simply cut off your food supply and natural gas if you live in Europe.

The natural gas will be less of a factor if the EU buys cheap Chinese solar. It could have been America who was the leader in green tech. It could've been us making billions selling EVs, windmill components and solar panels, but we chose idiocy over stability.
