Breaking Bad is formulaic. It's the same shyt every season. LITERALLY. Same setup, same ticking time bombs, same close calls, same payoffs, same results. You'd have to be blind to not see what's coming. It's just so well written that nobody notices.

Is this just an observational comment or some kind of complaint about the show?

Can't really compare the two shows....or even rank "Game of Thrones" at all if we're being honest....because there's about 20 on-going story arcs, most of which probably won't be resolved until the end of the series. So if they drop the ball in the last season or two, who knows how many years from now, it will color the perception of the entire series.

Which isn't a knock against "GoT", I'm just saying it's hard to compare something with an unfinished story, with no end in sight.
