-If past Brazilian administrations did their job to address the concerns and reparations for descendants of slaves, then this new administration's efforts would be futile. So we need to blame both current and past administrations if that's the case
-Assimilation isn't bad and doesn't mean you have to forget where you came from, it just means that your current home's culture should take precedence if there're conflicts

The truth is always in the middle. We know why they were socialist because white people around the world have stolen enslaved and marginalized people and the only way to overcome that in these countries was to reset the balances, take land, power, and money and redistribute it. It makes sense and is a perfect ideaoloy but it continues to fail in actual economic results. The right path ImO is more of a mix but strangled founded in capitalism and ensuring those marginalized have fair access to the tenants of capitalism and in some cases have additional accesses (affirmative action). But socialism full steam is a failed governmental experiment over and over again.
