Its confusing as fukk because of Latin America's inaccurate ass racial classifications. I personally think AAs are the largest at 40 million+. They claim Brazil has the largest Afro descent population outside of Brazil but census shows only 13 million identify as Black.

But yes the bulk of Afro-Brazilian ancestry is Angolan.

inaccurate is relative. Brazilians also have a huge Nigerian (Yoruba) and a lesser Mozambique input

AAs are defintely the largest African diaspora population for sure. the "Brazil is majority black" articles are wrong because they assume every "pardo" is "black"
