Africans had religions long before Abrahamic religions found their way to the continent. Judaism has been on the continent for almost 3000 years. Christianity been in Africa since 42 AD. Christianity was in Europe toward the end of 1st century AD. If black people want to practice proper (African) Christianity, it probably shouldn't adopt Catholicism or any of the other Protestant denominations. Stick to Coptic or Tewahedo (Ethiopian).
