I literally can't think of anything AAs took from Africans besides dashikis, which was a 90s thing.

They honestly are just manufacturing shyt to be mad about.

You don't see AAs mad when Africans make hip hop or when slaves and Martin Luther King were played by Africans.

So it's bullshyt for them to turn around and accuse us of this shyt. I'm sure these nikkas are a small minority tho.

Probably. They're on some "I'm purer than you sh*t".....which sounds very much like white supremacists garbage.

And ultimately AfAm culture is is always gonna be similar to theirs b/c......we're back too if they didnt notice.

This is so corny :snoop:
The epitome of faux outrage.

I was actually going to have an educational dialogue with some of the people on there then I saw an African accused AAs of stealing twerking from them after Beyonce went to SA or something so I checked out :dead:

Find the full docu though because because it touched on Rock in general.

yes and no

yes but these styles are made and enjoyed by everyone

Both are black genres that have more whites in them now..ragtime is just older

The people that played rock were marketed as soul/funk..black people know who they are

Prince isn't the only one..I gave you historical context already and modern musicians. Drake's uncle from Sly Stone played a Soul/Funk/Rock hybrid also

he's never mentioned as Rock though

:blessed: @ Black bass players period.
Larry Graham :wow:
Bootsy Collins :wow:
James Jamerson :wow:

Rick James :wow:

If there's one group of musicians that seems to generally go without getting much needed
props it's the people who help to glue together the entire sound and who are monumentally
important in black music.

:wow: The Bass :wow:
:sadcam: I can't wait to pick up a p-bass :lawd:
