I was into hardcore punk at 19 years old, which naturally got me into Hardcore (before it was called metalcore and hipsterized). then when I was 22, a friend observed that I liked certain bands and recommended the Metal classics. I have been a thrash fan ever since then.

I have been a metalhead for all of my adult life really. I haven't discovered anything recently.

When I was 27 I graduated to Black Metal and Death metal, which is what I think everyone eventually does.

I still will pop in the Converge, Hatebreed, or even Oi! polio and DRI from time to time.

fair enough, I dont really listen to it anymore but back in the day i used to rock with Bathory, Immolation, etc etc.
