A shame that Black Americans don't have a plethora of our own malls, as well. Yes, a PLETHORA of them.
And yes, we all know about Black Wall St. back in the day, etc. etc.
What I'm saying, though, is that if non-American Blacks can come here and work hard and open up a damn mall, then American Blacks have had more than enough time and opportunity to do the same, ten-fold.
And as an aside, it is things like this that are exactly why I kinda get quiet and don't say much when I'm around Africans and they start "going in" on African Americans' lack of achievement in this country.
If I were African and just reaching these shores and then a few years later I have my own business, I will have very little respect or sympathy for someone who is actually FROM that country but cannot seem to achieve the same as what I have. And I look just like them, so their racism excuse doesn't make sense.
Yeah, I'd feel the same way many of them do, towards African Americans.
It's not right, but it's warranted, when you see things like this.
