Emperor Tewedros II
Emperror Tewedros II, the founder of modern Ethiopia. He unified the country and ended the "era of wealthy princes and Warlords". He knew the country needed to be united inorder to defeat the european colonialism threat and he tried to modernise the country. For a comprehensive biography on his humble beginnings and eventual downfall, read "Emperor Tewedros: An Ethiopian tragedy". He was a true warrior king who died in battle against the british, Ive always admired the man.
