I can't generalize and say "African aunties" because not all Africans are even into weaves in makeups. The Massai, Tauregs, Fulani's, and etc are all very natural people. But from my own personal experience I've seen quite a lot of fukked up weaves and makeup from women in my homeland. I can't fw it

Let’s not play coy, you are more likely to see a Nigerian with a weave/fake hair of some sort than say an Ethiopia/Somali for example who are often more likely to have softer hair textures.

Like I said the courser the Afro textured hair the more likely it is to be manipulated or covered. It just is what it is and that applies to the black diaspora outside of Africa as well.
