Yep RELIGION is a creation of man. At least they haven't committed suicide yet like Jim Jones had his people doif this isnt the embodiment of religion
Nothing beats the pastor who thought he could walk on water like Jesus, only to drown.

A report was given by an eyewitness that the pastor took his congregation out to the beach. He told them that he would cross the Kombo estuary by foot, which is normally a 20-minute boat ride. By the second step into the water, Kabele was completely submerged. Sadly, he drowned immediately and never came up.
While this story is indeed sad, it is not the first incident of this nature in Africa. At Ibadon zoo in south-west Nigeria, a self-proclaimed prophet claimed he was able to do what the Daniel did by walking into a den full of lions. The zoo keepers had warned the man numerous times, but he saw them as the enemies of his progress. With a crowd watching, the man put on a red robe and attempted to enter the cage full of lions. Within seconds of opening the door, the lions ripped the man apart.

This is what happens when the congregation believes more in the preacher than in the word of God. People really need to read their bible before taking advice from a man about how to get closer to God.
So true, we can't keep making religion the scapegoat. When its weak minded people that is making a mockery of it, and the pastors are taking advantage because religion is to vulnerable to abuse.

We look down on these people for blindly following their pastor, but we'll turn around and toss money and support at our government reps. We cheer-lead for them, judge others based on which gang they align with, and we'll believe in the "American Dream" and all the wonders it will do for us. We'll align ourselves with ideologies that hurt us, more than help us. We'll accept the poison that our leaders give us, and put faith in their ability to improve our lives.
Then we call them names (I prefer naive) because they don't know any better. Apparently we know better but instead of grass, we eat bullshyt and get raped up the ass.
All that being said, the bible says God put green/herbs on the earth for man to consume. I prefer to smoke mine as it gets me closer to the source. Different strokes for different folks I guess
