Are you stupid or just plain dumb? He explicitly said put your money in no/low cost funds and let it grow at 12-20% year over year. I’m sorry, how is this hard to follow? Or is it simply not fast enough for you?

Most index funds don’t have a consistent 20% return :russ:

I mean a consistent 10% return is fukking great tho.
I'd go off of something very conservative like 6% or 7% and focus on shoveling
cash into it vs. hoping for huge returns all the time.

Either way, index funds with zero or low costs for even ONE decade with a high savings rate will
put you over the vast majority of Americans.

I can tell you that.
  1. 1st find a meme coin with at least 10 zeroes after the decimal place, ex: 0.00000000002344.
  2. Then figure out how much you want to buy.
  3. Then buy twice as much ethereum. Because gas fees are stupid high.
  4. Go to Uniswap or any other DEX supporting said meme coin.
  5. Buy said meme coin.
  6. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I wonder how many people said something like this during the rise of the Internet and companies like Amazon and Microsoft.

Crypto will change lives in these next 5-10 years.
Considering the difference between cryptocurrency and actual full-fledged internet corporations is that one is a shaky speculative asset and the other is a fukking company - I don't think this comparison makes a lick of sense :mjlol:

To write off cryptocurrency as a “shaky speculative asset”, while whole countries and some of the biggest financial institutions are investing in it is crazy to me. Its clear that crypto is on the path to mainstream adoption, and there’s nothing stopping this train.

Gang violence...
i have a little LRC. it's based on speculation involving GME and the fundamentals of how efficient it is per transaction. still, it is highly speculative and i only put in what i can afford to lose. as long as people keep their expectations grounded, small and well-considered investments in crypto is ok. expecting crypto to reverse centuries of racist policy would be foolish.

Did you forget where you post? That’s exactly the brainwashing going on right now with black crypto fanatics. Somehow thinking this is going to close the wealth gap…

The Cosmos
and it's still early. this is not going away. this is the internet in the late 90s.

And like the late '90s probably just a couple of them going to be standing at the end. And I'm guessing it's going to be the big two.

When it comes to crypto I'm only investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum. I'm staying away from all the other random coins.

the internet
some of the opinions of the non crypto folks is baffling to me.

its one part ignorance, and another part (imo) falling in line with their political party.
edit: also jealousy. They see people making a lot of money and feel like they missed out.

if youre into crypto take it serious.
Read the Bitcoin whitepaper to understand what this is all about...and then read up on ETH.

From there get a feel for the market...
...dont get caught up in BS like Shiba, Doge, etc... unless you know what youre doing

well yeah, not every crypto is going to succeed in the long run. but it'll definitely be a lot more than just bitcoin and ethereum. there's a lot of really good projects out there doing all sorts of different shyt.

it's cool if you just want to stick with those two, though. at least you have skin in the game.
