I think east west bank and Union Bank are owned by Asian Americans. Not sure if Union Bank is owned by Japanese or Japanese Americans. Union Bank seems to go out of its way to hide its Asian ownership.

Cathy bank is the largest Asian bank founded in America, that too was founded by Asian immigrants and not American born asians.

Both Cathy and East West Bank both have international offices in China, they are not a local American bank, they are global banking instituations in china.

Both of those banks were not usd for the example. Both Cathy and East West Bank don't have assets of as much as the graph image says, so they are not using either of those 2 banks as the example.

The largest "Asian" owned bank is probably not Asian American owned. If I had to guess, I'd say the largest Asian owned bank In America is HSBC (not sure if it is still British owned) or Bank of China ( Chinese government owned).

The same for the largest "Hispanic" owned bank. It's not a Hispanic American bank, the largest Hispanic bank In America is probably bank of Brasil or Bank o Popular or 1 of the Mexican banks.

Obviously stats and graphs like this are suspect.

One United is Black American founded. It is not a global black bank ( like the Hispanic and Asian ones in your graph) it is a local bank in America.

The tale tell is they named One United and not the other banks. Probably used all type of fukkery to make a narrative.

That's the thing most of the Black immigrant comparisons miss. Immigration, contrary to Fake News highlighting border hopping illegals is prohibitively expensive. Most immigrants who come here are upper class in their home countries and these home countries function as sources of capital and wealth. AAs are up shyts creek because unlike a lot of these foreigners, we don't have a country save this one. We can't access capital/ loans from the old country, unless you're talking about ya grandma from the South. If Africa was in the Western Hemisphere, the economic situation of blacks in the hemisphere would be far different.
