lol yeah ok. Anyone can roll on the ground and try to overpower someone that's wrestling. Technical wrestling and things like BJJ are a little more than just rolling on the ground...

:sas2:

Size ain't everything broham. Of course had dude hit that kid in the face SURE he would have knocked him out, point is what amounts to an easy 40-60lb weight difference can be equalized with some technique. Hell my 11 year old comes behind me sometimes with a choke and if he sinks that shyt in i'm going night night in 3-8 seconds.

and dead that "life and death" situation nonsense you're coming off real dumb.

"who learns how to fight, in a life and death situation i flail my arms in a circle wildly till someone drops" :mjpls:

In a life and death situation, as with damn near every other situation PRACTICE makes perfect.

That video :banderas: but they don't hear us tho

"Everybody has a plan until they get hit" :mjpls: And you really callin this middle aged bum a street figher :dead: Kimbo Slice is a street fighter. And if that kid tried that sh*t on Kimbo, Kimbo would be on a 10-15 right now for manslaughter :heh:

Rashad Evans is a BJJ black belt and was a d1 wrestler.

The nikka was a civilian breh, wasn't he teaching elementary school or some sh*t? :heh: Then he joins a show and next thing you know he's fighting Rampage Jackson :comeon: The basis of MMA is that anybody can get on, by definition that's why it's popular with CACs, because the sh*t isn't as elite as boxing, football, baseball, etc. A guy who hasn't been boxing since like age 15 (exception of Bernard Hopkins) can't come in and be elite in boxing. He started too late. You got guys from shows like Tanner who come out of nowhere and dominate the league :dead: I can't respect it brehs. :camby: All styles can work, because it was never about the style to begin, it's about the person implementing that style.

Train is one thing, be elite is another. Can you be a school teach and a top 5 NBA shooting guard? NFL receiver? Pro boxer? I mean come on breh, let's be reality here, only in MMA can you pull bullsh*t like that, sh*t bowling is more legit than MMA :camby:

U can't train part time and become a UFC champion no, but u can train part time and be able to put the beats on the average kimbo slice out there. shyt look at his mma career.

Everyone thinks they can watch a video or do a month of training and actually know what they're talking about or know how to fight. :leostare:

"Try that BJJ shyt on me and I will just knock you out with a punch before you grab me or a slam."

What do you know that skilled strikers and world champion strikers don't? :camby:

Nikka fought Rampage in a championship UFC bout, a nikka from outta nowhere breh :camby: Rampage Jackson is currently what? top 10? top 15? Can somebody be a former Golden Gloves champ and be legitimately considered competition for Floyd Mayweather? :smugfavre:

U need to read up a little closer on rashad Evans career. Dude was fighting for a minute and wrestled at a d 1 school and won the ultimate fighter tournament at heavyweight. He certainly didn't come out of nowhere.

:mjlol: Where should I even begin...

Rashad Evans was not "out of nowhere" when he fought Rampage :what:. He had an excellent wrestling pedigree, won TUF and worked his way up through the UFC, and won the LHW title before he fought Rampage. Right now Rampage isn't a top fighter, but come on.

There are many more ways to lose and to win in MMA than in boxing. They are just two different sports.

In the Shaolin Monk video, he countered the dude and clipped him behind the ear before landing the KO. His opponent didn't appear to be trying to clinch at that moment. And if he was, what would this even prove, except maybe he poorly executed the entry for the clinch?

In the armbar video, the dude who secured the armbar should've hooked his opponent's leg. It also appears to me that his hips were too low and not on his opponent's elbow joint.

No martial art is foolproof. Shyt ain't magic. If you don't execute the technique properly, you shouldn't expect it to work. And even if you execute perfectly, things can be countered. That's the nature of fighting :ld:
