Went to Zambia for charity work for about 6 weeks back in 2009 for my resume. It was a great experience, Africans are far better than blacks in America because they're not constantly crying about the white man. I found it funny how the women did all the work and the men just sat around

They allowed me to cut the goat (the animal, not the acronym) myself on the first day

You should go for sure, really beautiful countryside, accessible, many people speak English, clean, etc. If it's serious enough for you to consider bringing her along, you should probably take her imo. Go gorilla trekking, drink some Primus, have some goat brochettes and wander the countryside on a moto. What other places are you considering? I think most people would love Zanzibar, you could fly into Dar and take a boat across.

What was your experience like? Where in Africa did you visit?

I've went to South Africa this year.

It was fun as hell. Great parties (drinks are cheap as hell), nice looking women (the accents ), beautiful scenery if you leave the cities, and the people are nicer than the US.
