with all the lies being spread someone has to speak the truth..:pachaha:

Truthfully I dont even really like the guy. I think he is far to weak to rule Nigeria. Dont get me wrong the man actually does care about Nigerians well being but again he is too soft. Like you said the only experience he has is with animals. This is why a lot of the military brass dont really respect him. He is the first leader in all of Nigeria's history that does not have ties whatsoever to the military. Technically one could say he is our first civilian leader.
Again, The point is that he is by far the best we got. I mean if I have to pick between a weak leader like jonathan or the madman Buhari I am picking jonthan 10/10.
Buhari ruled nigeria before as a military dictator. He began some sort of agenda of stamping out indiscipline in society. The dude would send military soldiers to beat Nigerians on the street if they acted out of line. He stifled the press and had a lot of people were imprisoned and killed. my dad says Nigeria was hell. Now this same madman is now the head of the opposition party.:snoop:
I mean....

I don't like what Buhari and them did to Fela:yeshrug:

But a weak leader is the reason why hundreds of girls are missing and thousands of people are slaughtered..... and the world CAC interventions wouldn't have been as deep under Muhammadu buhari. Remember the Military took over from An even more corrupt government.,,,,,,, Nigeria would probably been a c00n puppet state if it were not for that. And previously it was those generals that kept at least some of the oil out of cac hands.

i think those are just your theories and suspicions, there is nothing concrete in what you are saying, its not obama's job to take sides, the us doesnt have an interest in any particular side, obama's job is to make sure whoever comes is in power is friendly toward the us

i have no idea what cnn has to do with anything, if you have a problem with cnn you should write them a letter
most of your post could end with U. S . A chants.

Jonathan is the best shot Nigeria has to break the control of despotic Northern elites and the international stranglehold that certain oil companies have on Nigeria and the Niger Delta. Jonathan is not a saint. He may not even be certain for some areas of governance (see his electricity policy). But under him the Nigerian economy is starting to diversify in terms of agriculture, mining and manufacturing and the South is finally prospering without the inept attitudes of the North:blessed:. Do you support the dictator Buhari who is probably funding Boko Haram to destabilize the country?

JONATHAN 2015
I don't support the General.... but I also don't support this weak shyt.

You say Jonathan 2015--- I say it will be a civil war--------- OBVIOUSLY the opposition party will come out on top- easily. They are seasoned warriors, they are determined, they've lead the nation already, plus they can stump out Boko Haram if they had a strong leader.

true your right. but again jonathan is the best we got at the moment. The alternatives are too insane. Let me tell you something. For all the criticisms one might have towards american politics the one thing I envy is the fact I always see new and young faces. (Guys like obama and paul ryan are off that new generation)

In Nigeria the same old heads that have been ruling Nigeria for the past 40 years are still at the forefront in politics. They dont allow the younger generation any room to come in. Jonathan is literally a breath of fresh air in my opinion. After all he is the only leader in all of Nigerian history who has no ties to the military. (Its why they dont respect him)

Again if there was someone else I would gladly vote for them. but right now its either jonathan or buhari. Yeah buhari's motto was to crush indiscipline and corruption but the man was a demon. Him and his vice president Igbinedion. Very horrible people.

plus i dont like buhari because of this:

PointBlankNews/pbn/exclusive/insecurity-buhari-promised-blood-if-he-lost-presidency/
He reminded Nigerians that Buhari had previously been credited with a statement that he would make the country ungovernable if the last presidential election did not favour him. Okupe said, “Everybody in this country knows that it was Buhari who vowed that if he did not win the election, he would make the country ungovernable for this President Goodluck Jonathan. It was this same Buhari who said during the electioneering period that if the votes were counted and he lost, people should go for blood.

He is not in any position to apportion blame on the issue of violence in the North or in Nigeria in general. He is a protagonist of violence. The only solution he sees to his not being President is to call for violence. This government has tried to contain some of the repercussions of the unguarded statements made by Buhari and I don’t think anybody in Nigeria will take him seriously on this allegation.”

The presidential aide added that if there were those to be blamed for the insecurity in the country, the name of Buhari should top the list. Okupe wondered why the Katsina State-born general had refused to visit states like Borno and Yobe despite the fact that he hails from the northern part of the country.

allAfrica.com: Nigeria: Buhari's Coded Message

General Buhari's prediction of revolution has been addressed by the PDP Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, who noted that that the statements had disqualified him as a democrat, pointing to the 1983 coup that truncated a democratic government. In days that General Buhari was the maximum military ruler of Nigeria, it would have been treason for any democrat, human right activist or ordinary Nigerian to speak glibly of expectation of revolution. Chief Metuh did not add this to his response to General Buhari, and it would have made some sense. General Buhari ruled then with a fist of iron. Those were times when even your thoughts could be read and considered treasonable by the state. It was a time when governance lost all its human face.

One could also recall other combustible statements from the leadership of General Buhari's CPC, calling on voters to use "means" to defend votes and also their pledges to make Nigeria ungovernable if General Buhari lost the 2011 presidential election. All these statements put together were forerunners to the violent turn that the political culture is witnessing today.

Civil war over a democratically elected Jonathan? That would just show how corrupt, despotic and wicked the Northern elites are. If Civil War happens again, I will support the destruction of Nigeria - for good. If Boko Haram magically stops operating when Buhari becomes President, it will be very suspect....

Well, The thing about politics is that you have to take culture into account. You aren't going to have some east coast liberal hipster winning the Texas Governers race. Nigerians thought they liked Jonathan.... the citizens acted like a female..... Then realized that soft nikka couldn't protect them or help them in any real way. You have a pet loving beta male leading a nation with black boys who can't read with - US, EU, and Arab weapons and training.

Those Buhari quotes are always from the Months of Jonathan and his people. Post the video or something where the General actually said it himself.

I do know that Buhari said that he's never done anything that wasn't peaceful, unless it was while he was serving the citizens of Nigeria as a general. And the Northern people of course are going to Not trust Jonathan because he's from a random ethnicity, and not a soldier. Since before recorded history warriors led the region........ now they don't have one and shyt is more fukked up than ever.

That's a catch 22. What if Buhari has nothing to do with it........ but he can stop it. Should he not stop it simply because him and the others would look suspect?

It won't be a civil war between chrisitans and north Muslims..... IT will be between a weak leader with Southern Chrisitans who barely have any traditional beliefs left............. and African Muslims who still hold on to nearly all of their traditional AFrican beliefs that they fused with Islam. It will be a 10 day battle and Then peace.

:comeon:
Buhari has nothing to do with it, but he can stop Islamic militants who want to make the entirety of Nigeria into a sharia state and refuses to negotiate until this happens ?:troll:

How the hell is Buhari going to stop ideologically motivated serial killers unless he's pulling the strings somehow.

African Muslims are toadies. They face Mecca in absolute denial of their pre-Islamic past. African Christians may little traditional beliefs yet but history has proven that Christians are stone-cold killers and are willing to put their head into the mouth of a lion for God. My money is on the Yoruba, Igbo and other groups saying "fukk Northern Nigeria. We have all the money, resources and non-brainwashed people". Nigeria's GDP per Capita would double to 4000 USD if we left the stinking, corrupt, despotic, wicked, backwards, foolish, terrorist North behind.

The majority off the north have abandoned a lot of their traditional beliefs for Islam just like the south for Christianity. Plus southern Nigeria is mainly populated by Christians and traditional believers anyway. (40% of southerners are christian and 10% are traditional)
Plus if Nigeria falls into a civil war it wont take 10 days. the biafran civil war lasted for 3 years and resulted in the death of over 1 million Nigerians.
I can assure you that a civil war in 2014 will last longer and be more bloodier. .

Voting for Jonathan was not acting like a female. Again the alternative was buhari and we didnt want him. and for all of jonathans faults the guy has done a great job in getting Nigerias economy on track. from the agricultural revolution to the loosening the grip of the oil majors and empowering indigenous oil companies to the revitalization of the railways. He has done quite well.
Still there is a lot of room for improvement. For example I am not happy with the electricity and gas situation.

we saw how easily this same result was achieved with Al Qaeda. people in America think everyone from the middle east is a terrorist at this point and it's because of how successful western propaganda is.

what Black people fail to realize is that this Boko Haram shyt is just getting started, I'm predicting a "Boko Haram" attack on America in the near future, which will result in an attack by the US on Nigeria or somewhere in the immediate area.

now ask yourself this, how will these white folks be able to tell the difference between Nigerian radicals in America and regular "African Americans"?

:sas1:
the same way they tell the difference between an englishmen and a frenchmen

this shyt will be going on for the next few hundred years possibly forever

The US isn't going to be able to launch another huge campaign Iraq style, and I highly doubt they can start up a Ukraine style civil war. The US is extremely broke plus China won't let this happen millions invested in parts of the continent. I'm just happy Nigeria is doing business with China and Asia. The dollar collapses, Nigeria will be able to recover quicker than the US.

Norfeast groovin…
:salute:

What I really want is the government to try and make the Niger River navigable for ships. But, this ain't bad.

I always thought it'd be cool if the major African rivers could be connected through large canals for riverboat size ships. If our civilization were to crash, we'd at least give the remaining humans a better water highway to navigate the land.
