What’s funny tho is that because of this extreme attitude towards explicit homosexuality, you sometimes see certain things that you wouldn’t see in America.
In my own experiences of going to Ethiopia, male friends show more affection than we do in America because of how taboo gay shyt is. So more hands on shoulders or holding hands which always throws me the fukk off but because of the mutual assurance that the other isn’t gay they can express their friendship in ways we wouldn’t dare. To some, they look at us as being hostages to gay shyt since we’re more hyper aware of it and point it out and elements of our interactions are even based off that awareness.
It’s an interesting flip side thought, but ima keep being a corrupt American cuz I could never do the things some of them nikkaz was doing out there
