That's a big move bringing the son, he makes that resistance legit among a huge amount of those tribal leaders, and he might end up being the deciding factor in groups that might be on the fence

Both sides of this conflict are foreign to me and I'm extremely uninformed on Afghanistan but it's somehow still inspiring:wow:
cliffsnotes

the president felt the fire, he ain't want no more smoke. told his people if he stayed they woulda smoked him (which they would). VP said" ain't shyt over yet, since he bounced on us, emergency powers I'm in control fukk the Taliban we ain't giving up shyt." Hence, the resistance but they are in control of majority of the country(Taliban). so he clicked up with massoud jr., his father PERSONALLY helped the mujahedeen defeat the Soviets, AND he whupped up on the Taliban just to show em how he rocking (so he like a national hero, mount Rushmore type dude, just to paint a picture). Basically, jr is the prodigal son.
:ehh:
vp sent out a call to arms, anybody trying to fight come, mind you they just lost the capital so shyt is hectic right now. alot of the troops wont with that giving up shyt, especially knowing what awaits with a Taliban victory, they been making their way to him. The location where they are defending could almost be looked at as modern sacred ground, the same place they fukked up the soviets and sent them home. The government has been storing ammo, gear and shyt shyt there for this situation but it ain't gonna be enough
:sadcam:

basically we are at the climax of the Afghanistan War and alot of dead servicemen will see closure soon.
:mjcry:

U.S. in a no win situation right now, continue to fight for how much longer? pull out and the shyt that's gonna happen to those people..man..listen, if the
President is telling you he was gonna get it the worst way, the average citizen down right defenseless :wow:

now we at the point we all just waiting to see 3 things:
the Talibans next play (as they claimed enemy combatants wouldn't be harmed..and would be a fukking fool to believe it). how much a squeeze can they apply after not having control after all this time
2. How much inner support can the resistance garner on it's own without intervention and can they win? against themselves? it is notable that the troops we trained are volunteering to keep on fighting, that's a good sign
:jbhmm:
3. Are we willing to lose our standing to fully withdraw out like Biden says
:patrice:

Honestly, this might be the tipping scale that forever changes power between the west and far east forever. If we let those people down our international standing, done. And with formally recognizing the Taliban AGAIN? after telling your allies for 20 years they were terrorists? no shake back
:manny:

the last images people will remember of this are distressed Afgani citizens hanging off a plane
:wow:

shyt all the way fukked up
:snoop:

these ppl literally don't know what planes are or how they work, that's why they're all cheering and waving as they're flying to their deaths :mjcry: i saw this interview with arab fighter pilots and even they were saying that planes are impossible machines and are held aloft only by the will of allah

i also remember one where they were interviewing village elders, they had no idea what planes were, what 9/11 was, that america invaded (they thought it was still the soviet invasion than ended in '89), or even what america WAS. they were showing one cat pics of the twin towers on fire and his reaction was "wow, they had buildings like that in kabul?" :ohhh:

So you are willing to risk death to leave your country but not willing to risk death to defend it from despotic degenerates?

"It turns out not only were the villagers oblivious to 9/11, but so were the Afghan police, and even some of the translators working with the U.S. military." :dead:

the vid with the pilots would get me banned if i posted it, i'm pretty sure it's called "such are the days" by al-nusra and can be found on academic research sites
