I ain't gonna lie...i tuned out after like the 3rd week....but it was because i was confused as to what AEW was supposed to be
I thought i was getting NJPW east..or at least NJPW-lite

Ray Fenix has potential to be one of the biggest stars in the industry. This dude is so good, has a ton of charisma and has all the tools to be the next big Latin American star. Pentagon has maybe the coolest look and catchphrase in the biz right now too.

The fanbase in America today will not follow a NJPW type or 80s JCP/WCW company. Also it would be hard for a new company to get on TV. You can thank Vince and UFC for that.
Wrestling in general is on a lot of "do not advertise" lists because most advertisers view the wrestling fanbase as "low brow". Which to them means little money, and in effect will cause most networks to refuse any wrestling content.
Which is why Vince doesn't mention the word "wrestling" hardly at all on his shows. Even the company is just pronounced WWE.
In America, the WWE is wrestling to the mainstream audience. So most TV networks are only going to do business with a company that is similar to the WWE.

Honestly I would have Moxley beat Cage. Then have Pentagon attack Moxley and start a long, drawn out feud in which Moxley ultimately drops the AEW World Title to Pentagon.

I think they're still wrestling in AAA, but I'm not sure since I haven't watched AAA in awhile. Pentagon was stuck in Mexico earlier in the year whenever the first wave of coronavirus hit.
I remember reading a story a few months back about Jericho chewing out Pentagon (maybe it Fenix too?) about being lazy in the ring when he/they have so much potential. I can't blame the mufukkas for coasting with the atrocious booking. Death Triangle seemed like a dope concept, but Pac is stuck in the UK so it'll probably be dropped.

They did, he was their first champ and had a lengthy run, did a shyt ton of promo for the company, and got the most airtime on the show forever.

Then da rest of ya show is just nikkaz doing dives and doing flips.

I would've pushed PAC to the moon. He should've gotten that title from Jericho then battled against Cage.
