What a dumb ass narrative, the WWE has released around 60 wrestlers in the past year how many did AEW sign? Black, Andrade, Miro, 2.0???

Bryan's contract expired, Punk has been a free agent for years and there are a couple dozens released talents not in AEW.

Now imagine not signing on Cole once he's available but fed trolls on Twitter are making something out of this narrative

They said you were a mark and they might've been right

It's not a narrative if it's what came out of their own mouths as philosophy for the company

Looks like you intentionally left some names off, let me help you

CM Punk
Daniel Bryan
Mark Henry
Big Show
Tyler Black
Andrade
2.0
Miro
Cody Rhodes
Dustin Rhodes
Tay Conti
Justin Roberts
Bray Wyatt is coming

I'm sure there's more. Christian Cage just beat their world champion.

Given a number of these names get significant air time on AEW programming it legit feels like a time warp from 2013 RAW with 2019 RAW sprinkled in. Only difference is everyone's older and surrounded by other spare parts/wrestlers

It's not narrative, it's fact. You can still enjoy the product while acknowledging the fact. We can acknowledge the throne smashing looks silly now right?

Hmm Tyler Black...Dustin, Henry and Big Show are mainly backstage positions and so is Robert's, like who cares...

Yea, I forgot Christian, but so what? We talking 60 plus released it's normal that AEW signs some names here. Bryan wasn't released tho, he went there voluntarily and so did Punk. The best in the world are choosing the promotion that fits them now.

:yeshrug:

And even there? So what you think if they ain't grabbing Cole next week? What about Walter, Keith Lee if they're ever available, Owens, Zayn, some talent, you have to grab. That's how the WWE built its roster in the last 30 years but jacking WCW, ECW and then ROH/PWG talent

Lol@you adding Cody to the list lol, literally one of the founders. Man the muhhhhh wwe crowd is literally firing blanks now

They've also both gone on record and say we'll if it's someone we feel will make the product better we will.

But this is funny coming from the Fed crowd, literally the company that constantly fails to deliver and often straight up insults its naive fanbase.

Latest example is last night, Banks was reported not being available for a week and they still promoted the match lol. Now that's offensive

I forgot Swagger, Jericho, Vickie, Taz

I'm not getting into semantics with you over how they ended up there, how they're used, etc.

They said they weren't signing ex-WWE people, multiple ex-WWE people are currently under contracts

I responded mostly to see if you were a mark like they said everything's cool man lol

Bingo. Why box yourself in with that in the first place

Now you look ridiculous building up an audience of people holding onto that while having enough bodies to run a whole card from RAW

So we going back to day one? You know it would be almost impossible to actually start a big time wrestling promotion nowadays without having talent that never worked at the wwe. They literally starting signing everyone everywhere in 2018 to try and kill the incoming brand. This is such a non issue, like how conservatives are making such a big deal out of Liberals wanting to turn Murica into China. Fake concern based on bullshyt

despite there being way too many geriatric WWE/WCW people around, they need as much of these recently released WWE guys as they can get.

their roster is just generic Maga looking guys or just cheesy and corny individuals and crews. its the reason when I tried to watch I couldn't do it more than a few episodes.
Andrade, Black and if they get them, a Cole or a Wyatt gives them something at the least.. ready made.

either Charlotte Flair or Adam Cole (bay bay)

It's funny right. Punk showing up makes you believe damn near anything's possible.

how ? Punk is, for whatever reason a god to the AEW type of fanbase. it easy money.

man sat like a child in kindergarten acting like he was forced at gunpoint to go to WWE and held hostage as he made millions while grown men had tears streaming down their faces.

it was like selling water to a well.

Also….. I have no dog in this race.

But if y’all gonna have this discussion and trying to keep it serious and to facts….. verse trolling and jokes.

Then y’all need to be clear with the FACTS.

They said they wouldn’t sign “ANY AND EVERYONE” that comes from the WWE

They never said “they wasn’t going to sign ANYONE”

Those are 2 distinctive statements, don’t twist up their words also they thus far have stayed true to that:hubie:
