We began work on it yesterday and literally one of my ideas was bringing back the Hardcore title and the 24/7 rule, so you can have matches break out spontaneously in public to draw social media fukkery and follows. Sometimes you have to go back to what worked in order to find your way, the problem is Vince went to far away from what made his company successful.

He's using TV-14 ideas and trying to adapt them to please sponsors and keep them TV-PG. Attitude Era-Lite isn't going to work in the long-run.

You don't necessarily need to be AE lite to succeed, they could go back to the Ruthless Aggression style minus the bikini contests. The RA era was a lot better than the AE when it came to wrestling side of things, Smackdown from 02-05 is exactly how things should be when it comes to having a perfect balance of wrestling and storylines.

That was when Paul Heyman was overseeing Smackdown. I don't think any McMahon is in a rush to give him a full time writing gig nor do I think he really wants one with the WWE.

You choose to focus on that but they had way more good than bad, like the Lesnar/Angle feud, the cruiserweight and the tag team divisions. The Smackdown six saved the WWE from the garbage that was coming from RAW.
