The first one was calling out Page who wasn't there and he knw it, and the recent one is telling people to pull up and refusing to open the door when they do. This is the person you riding for?

Calling out Page in that promo AFTER Page came to him and apologized for w/e slight Punk thought he made in the first place.

Funniest thing is, MJF made comments about not needing to do all sorts of wild shyt to get the crowd 'there', as it were... which at the time seemed like thinly-veiled shots at the Elite and their ilk.
But now... if they manage to push Punk out of the company, right as MJF returns to conceivably take the title from the bitter old man in a program that could be legitimately star-making for him... the person who really ends up fukked here is MJF. And between the Bucks and Omega taking that from him, and the Bucks ducking FTR... I dunno. If the teams are Punk/FTR/MJF or Omega/Bucks/Page... how in the fukk do you, as a businessman, take the latter crew as the set you ride with in your company?

If it were me, the Elite getting sent to ROH. The idea of them having Punk under their banner and not having a Punk/Danielson match happen at all before the end is a bigger knock against that company that any other missed opportunity, IMO. Moreso than even getting the tag titles on FTR while they're literally on top of their game. Not using Punk to get MJF to that star level, or using him to getting eyes you wouldn't normally have through an extended build-up against the best currently-working wrestler in the world in Danielson... that's just hustling backwards.

I haven’t watched wrestling like that in years, and once my brother texted me last night about it, I watched it on yt. That shyt transcended wrestling, there were so many layers to that presser. I laughed, but also felt such cringe at how much of a fukking mark Kahn is. Imagine having more money than you could ever spend, be in any room you could ever want, be around anybody you ever wanted to be around, and instead of doing what you want, you do what you can? I’m not disrespecting CM Punk at all, either, the dude obviously does whatever he wants, but to watch an actual billionaire cower next to his “employee” is something else. Smh at least it’s interesting.
