I thought it was interesting
It wasn't anything we haven't already said here. The mention of other people feeling similar to Punk about the elite but not having the credibility to speak up without being fired was interesting.

But it was obvious to anyone with common sense that any narrative that painted the elite as the good guys and everyone else as the bad guys was moronic. It's pro wrestling there are no good guys and if there are they don't last.

Got like 10 mins left.

Wished they would have commented on TK. Didn’t say anything about him so far.
I’ve never really listened to his pod before. Only heard bits and pieces and I hate how he has childish nicknames for so many wrestlers.

But I didn’t realize how much heat Omega and the Bucks have had for years backstage in numerous promotions. Sounds like Punk said stuff a whole bunch of other wrestlers have been wishing they could say for years now (predating AEW) but never would because they didn’t want to lose their job.

I’m more convinced than ever that the Elite absolutely can’t be EVPs anymore.

PREACH! Adam Page hasn’t proven to be a top guy and he never will be a top guy. He’ll rather listen to his buddies that only achieved indie success and worthless 5-6 star match ratings than actual guys who made it to the big stage and became top guys/legends in the wrestling business.

If Page would’ve humbled himself and allowed guys like Punk, Regal and etc to take him under they’re wing and he become a student, he would be a much better wrestler. Instead he’s going to be forever known as a spot monkey who can do a bunch of cool looking moves that the crowds will love but will quickly forget when the next match starts because the wrestlers are doing the same shyt.

Punk is far from being the wrestler he was in his prime and yeah he’s an arrogant a$$hole in his own right but like I said last night…How would you feel if the EVP’s for a company I work for is continuously blasting you through the media and plant fake stories out there that aren’t true?

The Bucks and Co put the battery in Page’s back to shoot on Punk and bring backstage shyt into light and it backfired…

Now Page looks like an idiot…

AEW homegrown talent got to realize that they aren't WWE yet. They may been the closets to ever push WWE, but they are still levels above them. They need to humble themselves and realize that they got to work together.

At the same time.... All this could of been avoided if "I don't take advice from anyone" Ultimate Warrior Page ask if it was okay to do a personal dig on live TV... Especially one that involves real litigation and was a nasty break up that you don't know the full story.

Well, you poked the bear and you got your p*ssy friends to leak it. You could of just been a man and took that receipt.

But nooooooo... It had to keep escalating. Then, you had Punk go off, and air it out completely with Colt. Did Colt wanted to be embarrassed on TV for no good reason? Sharing a bank account with his mother. Punk didn't want to do that, and he didn't for 8 years.

Punk, EVPs, and Page all acting like a bunch of big bytches, but this all could of been avoided if Page acted professional in the 1st place.

Now... It looks like Page was deliberately trying to divide the locker room. Punk was calling out their bullshyt.

Nobody fukking wins in this bytchfest.

That part wasn’t true. Cornette HATES the bucks and Omega. Only person he hates more than them is Russo.

Notice he didn’t have one bad thing to say about Punk there and damn near was bout to say he wish Punk was his son :russ:

He’ll never be unbiased about them or Russo, Which is why I just wanted to get his thoughts on TK vs what Vince would have done. Maybe they’ll drop more tomorrow after hearing the rest.

I'm just playing devil's advocate here, but regarding this point... why? Those guys built AEW. The Young Bucks allegedly asked Punk to join the promotion whenever they started it only for Punk to wait and see what would happen. AEW built legitimate momentum and viewership before the former WWE/NXT stars all got signed. Did Punk & Danielson bring in viewers? Sure. But Punk working & going over Darby, MJF and Hangman didn't elevate any of them.

In all honesty, I don't know how you can blame Hangman's promo on Punk when Punk has made a career doing the same thing. But I agree. All of these mufukkas are way too old to be acting like this.

To add onto this, Punk had what 8 years off…?

If he’s such a big draw and put AEW “on his back” then how come his bytch ass never went to ROH, NJPW, or Impact during those 8 hours and lift them up…?

The Elite definitely did. Punk bytchass waited 2-3 years after AEW started and then jumped on THEIR wave.
