At least WCW ripping off themes led to one of the GOAT themes ever with the nWo, but AEW & the CFO$ in the WWE are just lazy motherfukas when it comes to theme songs.

Yeah but WWE samples like crazy too, they're just that kid that copies well enough that nobody notices

Now they sample like crazy, but the WWE pre CFO$ was still producing great themes.

Jim Johnston stayed supplying heat, and even though he left the WWE in 2017, his involvement with themes was happening less and less way beforehand. Once CFO$ started to take over, the themes all just started running together. For every dope theme they’d make (Rusev), there’s a ton that sound like Apollo Crews’ (both his new and old ones) that just sound so tame and poppy.

CFO$ are some of the worst theme creators in wrestling history. Vince has more than enough money to bring him back, just fire the CFO$ and tell Jim that they made a mistake. I'm really disappointed in Snoop's theme for Sasha. They finally released it on YT and that 1 verse is the whole song, then it just loops 2 more times.
