What was the last wrestling video game that was universally regarded as good? I pretty much have been out of the loop on wrestling games since like the Smackdown vs Raw games.

Someone needs to make a wrestling game that is an actual simulation of what it's like to work a match where you have to cooperate with your opponent and put on an entertaining match and hit certain spots.

I'm sick of wrestling games as offbrand fighting games. shyt never feels right.

They tried that with the 2K games and yet the majority of online tries to have squash matches with 100 rated CAWs doing cheese moves.

Why can't we get a forbidden door style video game? Get the roster from aew, njpw, impact, and whatever other companies or indies that want to participate and combine them all in one game and have all their rosters. I don't even know if impact or njpw or any other than wwe have video games but that'll be something cool and interesting. Maybe one day that'll happen.

It still operates as a fighting game. You ain't working matches like you're cooperating with your opponent.

I can't see myself playing any of the minigames more than once, and the weapon physics look kind of silly (DMD picking up the trashcan with one hand was ridiculous). Also, the graphics look almost PS2 quality.
On the plus side, there haven't been intergender matches in major wrestling games in over a decade. It's cool to see them make a return, but I wonder if there will be weight detection. I'd hate to see DMD giving stalling suplexes to Bearcat Lee.
Since this trailer was mostly a skit, I hope that a gameplay trailer is released soon. I also wonder if we can create wrestlers. They've mentioned wrestler customization, but that could just mean customizing the included roster.

i think they are displaying nintendo switch content
but i agree, this game is probably better for the PC due to the mods and hacks

those n64 aki wrestling mods were legit.. and they still are..

Those mini games look trash and something nobody gonna play more than once or twice
Mario Party legit cause of all the fukkery on the board between the games and the sheer variety of mini games on offer

Go and squash someone on Fire Pro and end up with a 50% rating You've gotta pace the matches, catch breath and build up to major spots. I dunno what the hell buddy is going on about
