I once was going to try that out back in HS with a desktop then realized it was going to cost too much to keep my rig up to date to keep playing stuff. Was already going to cost me well over $1K just to get the machine. Consoles were like 300-400 back then.

Early Access just means continued development, it's always a good thing. Of course some games in EA seem more like a finished product on their early release versions than others, but I think what they came with is suitable enough.
In fact, I think they should have leaned more into that aspect during launch promotion, let the fans know "don't worry this a one-time purchase and we gonna keep updating for yall not just slider tweaks and wrestler DLCs" We have the ability to update deeper than that, and we are gonna use it.
If they had deved the game another year before releasing it would have been "Wait so they have a playable game now, and we gotta wait because it's not quite upto standard yet? Let us play what you have and then in a year we'll have the more polished version anyway

Which is crazy because the development time is no different than any other game. It is just that we are used to the WWE games dropping every year. This. The complaining about the game development time was wild. We were also privy to a LOT of backstage development snags we normally wouldnt be because of dirtsheets. Kinda proves wrestling fans are objectively the worst
