Graphics are not a deal breaker, it's about the game

Graphics aren't a deal breaker but that looks straight up like a PS360 gen game and we're now in the PS5/Xboner whatever generation. I'll grant them that it's certainly early footage but it also doesn't appear to be in engine footage either, which means that's the sweetened up CGI rendering and it still looks like an uprezzed Gamecube game.

You going to far bruh. They had some big hits afterwards with WWE 13, 2k14, 2k16 & 2k19, but they they did have some mega flops like WWE 12, WM X8, RAW 1&2, SVR 08 & etc.
They fell off HARD when they moved onto the PS3/360 systems. Those SVR games did not live up to their potential with them constantly removing shyt that didn't need to be removed and then adding in stuff only to half-ass it (like the Struggle Submission System where some submissions got it but then some like the Regal Stretch and the Ankle Lock didn't which made them useless in the matches since you couldn't tap anybody out with them).

I didn't care for the fast gameplay that was in '12 to 2K14 all that much. 2K16 and 2K19 are my two favorites of the 2K games but them slacking off on Universe Mode the way they have in those games has really brought those games down for me.

If it wasn't for the Stone Cold showcase 2k16 would've been a flop as well. I don't understand how they kept going backwards graphics wise from 2k15 to 2k18. 2k19 was a perfect example of going out on top, but they had a bunch of misses that people excuse because of their past history. SVR 06 & 07 are classics, but SVR 08 was just too unforgivable. I'll be interested to see how this game turns out, a No Mercy game in 2020 imo is a case of be careful what you wish for.

The first game of the next gen was pretty much always the best game for that gen, usually in the game itself and graphically. Then each game was a step back in multiple places until the last game of the gen is a completely broken mess. This happened 3 gens in a row :mjlol:

This. Playing No Mercy now is underwhelming as fukk without the nostalgia goggles 20 years later. That said, the engine updated will work really well and the graphics are not THAT much of a deal breaker for me

I wish that manager game was a console game. I would be down for a deep well made version of that.

The hope with Yukes is that the reason the 2k games suck were because WWE or 2k was forcing them to push them out every year. Hopefully with more freedom and more time to work on something, their experience will lead to them producing something great.

I feel great about Omega being heavily involved.
