I know this is gonna come off mad suspect, but Sonny Kiss gotta tuck his booty cheeks in. I think he’s a great athlete, and even the sparkle glitter was watchable as a long time wrestling fan. But dude going full Prince with the booty cheeks took me way out of whatever he was trying to accomplish out there. I know Cody and Co. is trying to let him be, but it’s too much.

Just curious, but why not?

Especially when you’re going the anti-WWE route........ wait, I shouldn’t say that cuz it comes off like I’m taking a shot at some people’s precious WWE.


Especially when they are trynna go the more UNIVERSAL route of showcasing they have a strong roster or highly skilled talent. Kind of in the same vein of how NJPW, Lucha Underground, ROH, or etc showcases their roster is strong.

Yano is a comedy wrestler but even he don’t be getting dominated and jobbed out like that, either he loses to fukkery or people really gotta work to beat him.

That’s the one thing I’m really thankful about Lucha Underground, they made me really rethink how I look at wrestling.

Matches where “one guy who’s supposed to be the top pushed guy who squashed and dominates EVERYONE” are no longer entertaining to me. And you can’t build your ROSTER up like that and shouldn’t sacrifice all the talent for the sake of 1-5 guys.

Johnny Mundo, Ricochet, Mil Muertes, Fenix, Pentagon, Matanza were ALL able the be established as top stars without having to destroy their roster and make them look like jokes.

Okada who is a dominate world champ can have a match against the equivalent of a 205 guy and both can come out looking great.

I know a lot of people kinda have this “well AEW needs to conform to THIS to make their product more digestible to the mainstream audience” but I think maybe the mainstream maybe needs to open up a bit and maybe change their diet for this.

Just like I’m fine with mixed men vs women matches. Pentagon vs the Black Lotus Clan goes down as one of my alltime favs
