they are current, but what makes them enjoyable to watch is that they incorporate a lot of traditional pro wrestling things that are reminiscent of things you would have seen 25 years ago with a 2020 touch
Yup pretty much. It’s why I’m kinda tuned out on Mondays. Wwe just feels stuck to me

Their energy -- without fail, the crowd is HELLA invested in everything -- is infectious.

What I love most about AEW is that they let the product sell itself. WWE is too focused on establishing/forcing their narrative to the forefront, even at the expense of the in-ring product.

AEW's most over talent is a man whose gimmick is sloth. And they let it be.
