Whales don't eat sharks ..they barely eat fish.,they eat a lot of krill...so the tag got to 76°? That's too cold for a whale..a whale is at 96°..and fishes body temperatures are at 18° to 30°.....there are active hydrothermal vents in the ocean..the tag could of been near one of those places
@Hollywood Hogan I know but my main point was the general size of them in combination with what is unknown.

hulkster your ignoring the fact that sperm whales dont actively hunt any type of shark, only one occurence of them attacking a megamouth shark which is a deep swimer and relatively harmless compared to a great white, they mainly eat squid... and orcas dont dive that deep, also the temperature of the body indicated it wasnt a mammal because it wasnt THAT hot... they say it was a colossal, cannibal great white, now what does that sound like to you?
