I think "spankings" are cool. Most child service laws say so. You just cant go overboard, which is what it seems like he did according to those injury reports from his kid a year or so ago. So, for him to say this now is hella out of pocket. But, like someone else said, it all depends on the kids. Some, yes, you can talk to them and deescalate that way. Others are a rare breed though and I know that from experience. You can try every thing from talking logically, reward system, discipline through exercise, taking away toys/tablets/priveleges, and it wont do a damn thing. Only thing some of em respect is that belt. But again, you not suppose to go overboard, spank em while youre angry or nothing. Anyway, I'm a be honest. Im just being real. I got spankings with hands and belts growing up, so I been there.

Beating your kid with a belt or just beating them in general is not cool to me. To me it shows you ain't mentally capable enough to talk to your kid and explain consequences. If your kid is getting you mad enough to strike them you probably shouldn't be raising kids you are a grown up, they are children.

I don't think beating your kid into fearing you is good parenting. Just my opinion though.

I know people will say "if you don't have kids you don't know/don't understand" which is absurd. We were all kids at one point who did fukked up and dumb shyt...at the time did you think you should of got beat for it?

I know parents get tired and angry and shyt, thats life...But beating the shyt out your kid because they are being kids aint finna help them in the long run. That shyt sticks with you and it becomes a vicious cycle that's why you got these dudes goin around beating up they girlfriends and shyt. They can't handle their emotions, they think being physical solves problems.

With all that said, AP can raise his kids how he wants. I just wish people could find a better way to punish their kids that isn't physically harming them.

I'm 6 kids deep now bruh. First 3 daughters listened and didn't need that treatment. The first son, he had to get that work but to what you were saying I saw that he wouldn't listen. I figured the boy was retarded (I'm joking) but they tried to deem him adhd and wanted to give him pills but I was like and was more patient/etc. Knowing why he struggles to focus leads to better parenting. That doesn't mean your kid won't cross a line. I now have a 2yr old girl and she doesn't have adhd but is bad as a muthafukka. I anticipate 50cent slogans in her future

Seems like you don’t understand the concept of punishment. The main point of punishment is to inflict pain as a measure of deterrence. To many kids, especially younger ones, words don’t carry weight. It’s that simple.

My intent was not to diss anyone, I'm just stating an inherited fact. We are hypersensitive to the feelings of white American culture because it can in some cases be a matter of life n death.

White people don't have to think like that unless they went into the worst neighborhoods. Black people can be in a nice neighborhood only to find out its not nice if you black.
