I mentioned this in another thread. Every movement has "trolls" -- every movement will have people who don't really support what the movement is for -- and used for other intentions.

BUT -- that should not make that movement irrelevant -- or a joke.

Will Trump and "right-wingers" -- eventually and possibly now -- be using ADOS to start shyt --- YES.

BUT - this happens to every movement -- EVERY ONE.

All one can do - is support the goals of that movement -- don't harp on "leaders" or "spokesman" -- cause they really don't matter in the end. They all can be replaced. They all can go. But, the goal remains.

So what is the end goal of ADOS and how do you go about it? I’m genuinely curious.

Breh... The majority of the "ados" movement isn't even politically active or knowledgeable. Its a feel-good "we are different" tactic that is being pushed by right wing elements to divide the already low turnout black vote..

95% ados are gonna vote huh, but 50% of self proclaimed ados say they need to see reparations or they won't vote. Turnout gonna be half of that half. Please

I am in personally two ADOS groups -- one in Atlanta and one in Michigan. Each time I go to a meeting it's 30+ people and growing.

We have discords, message boards and we are becoming politically active in our communities. We are encouraging people to run for local, state -- and hopefully one day national positions.

It's a new process for most of us. But, it's happening.

I agree -- I can't front I have seen more than a few say that -- and they are usually men. But, I think they are really just using that as a tactic -- or maybe some are telling the truth. The thing is they want to be recognized and heard.

I'm voting for Warren regardless. Reparations is not happening in 2020. But, we have to stay on them and don't let up.

That's a juvenile reading of a complex issue.

What I've found is that there are black people who think about race all the time and those who don't. Out of the first group, due the sad state of ADOS life and politics, many found themselves... floating off into the ether on some next shyt. ADOS let them know we working on something, so they caught up on the new data and jumped back in. I can't be mad at that.
