I would not like that. But the question still stands why is anyone walking up and putting their hands on a person who isn't trespassing or being a threat? This is how the Trayvon Martin situation started. Trying to get physical with a person who was not threatening you.
Also I quoted that specific part of your post to call out how unrealistic it is to wait until you are at a life threatening disadvantage before you defend yourself. One punch to the head can have you dazed and unable to get to the equalizer you may need. Especially if it's a 2 on 1 fight where both opponents are much larger than you.
Why would you be using deadly force if you ere not at a life threatening disadvantage?
I mean… deadly force should only be used when deadly force is either about to be used on you or is currently feign used on you.

Have you ever pushed a person who was smaller than you? Have you ever been pushed by a person bigger than you?
Because you are saying it would be ok if somebody died in either situation.
