Adult ADD does not appear out of nowhere. If you tell him you got the symptoms over the last 2 years he gonna mark your ass as drug seeking.
ADD usually stems from childhood. Adult onset of attentive type disorders are usually a result of brain trauma and are not treated with ADD meds and usually require brain scans of various types. Tell him your symptoms. Its ok to say I took a quiz on some website and it identified all these symptoms Ive had for a long time. The DOCTOR should be the one to probe deeper. If asked if you had problems as a child say yes. If asked if you use drugs SAY NO. Tell him it affects your work. Ex. You meant to start on projects but you forget and put them off for too long. Tell them his it affects your every day life. He may send you for testing. They will test your focus and ability to stay on task. Obviously to get ADD meds you have to kinda NOT stay on task during the testing but atleast try otherwise they will know youre faking. Getting ADD medicine as an adult without a prior chidlhood diagnosis is very hard nowadays due to people selling the drugs.
And IMO adderral XR is WAY better than vyvansse.
