players have already lost money, and the NBA has already lost money for no reason that's why Morey should be fired, he already back track from his statement and this is just the NBA trying to save face from American backlash

It doesn't matter if the NBA is the United States, they have a business venture with China, so if your business partner is upset that is a problem that needs to be remedied.

Tencent is the company the NBA has the digital media deal with for 1.5 billion, this is what is at risk in the situation, they want Morey fired because he insulted their country, if the NBA says no they say no, they already cut of the money and will probably do more.
