You're either on the side of free speech or you aren't.
Anything else is juelzing.
It's not even juelizing, they're literally dumbass sports fans that are honestly defending the Chinese oligarchy because they're dumb af and don't understand shyt about politics.
Had some guy trying to call injustices in China fake news invented by the right-wing...
I knew lebron stans were
but this is just a whole new level of delinquency.
It's not even the regular season yet, this shyt is probably going to get dragged out for years, because there's literally billions of dollars at stake with all this shyt.
It's about sovereignty. If the NBA had just all shown solidarity to begin with, this probably wouldn't be an issue. But since it's proven to be a divisive topic (which is shouldn't be), China sees a chink in the armor and is trying to drive a further wedge.
They already own all of our debt, this whole premise that America can ever tell China what to do is bs. There's not gonna be another Cold War, they already have us by the balls and our military-industrial complex has lead to us collapsing in line with what Seymour Melman predicted 40+ years ago in 'Pentagon Capitalism'. China's been around for thousands of years, they know how to play the long game. America's been around ~250, we have this asinine and insolent exceptionalism because we think we're hot shyt. I just had dinner with a former VP of Dell, he was discussing how all these business deals are mutually beneficial. The fact is, our infrastructure is collapsing around us, and the only thing keeping us afloat is our business deals with countries like China - once they pull out, we're just gonna end up like Portugal, the Netherlands, and England, they used to run half the planet, then colonialism went to shyt (good riddance), and now they ain't shyt.
