Just to add. What exactly kind of work did Gottlieb put in, to become a head coach of a D1 program? To just skip all the steps, because he's been a talking head entertainer for years, just skip the line with zero qualifications and become head coach of a D1 program. What kinda work did he put in to earn that?

That's the part that gets me, man. Since UW-Milwaukee is in the same conference, I keep an eye on UWGB. The AD there nearly handed dude this job the last time it was open (which was two years ago.) It's truly complexion for the protection on this one: What other D-1 coach can you think of is allowed to run a program part time to do his radio show full time and get a contract that's damn near impossible for the school to buyout?
