It's all about AD and Bron being healthy for the playoffs. If one of them ain't, then it's over pretty much.

You just can't sign great talent for minimum. All these role player/bench warmer guys are either washed up or got way too many flaws to secure a long contract. This illusion that Lakers are signing outstanding players for veteran minimum is cringeworthy.

Anyone know if Russ and/or Bron are playing tonight?

Yall forget Vogel was playing Dudley, Troy Daniels and Cook for a combined 50 minutes in the first regular season game against the Clippers 2 years a go. Not preseason, but regular season.

It takes him time to organize a team, especially when the entire roster is brand new.

By Dec or Jan, he will have the team completely sorted. That's why the best Vogel Lakers team wasn't even bubble Lakers, it was the one that was a well oiled machine and beat the Celtics, Bucks and Clippers in the same week before the season locked down for covid.

Hard to orchestrate any real plan in a game so early, especially when you know in practice everything is running through Bron and Russ...both of whom who haven't played the actual games.

Lowkey, those back to back wins vs. the Bucks/Clippers were as satisfying for me personally as the chip itself :mjlol:

That team was on one
