Exactly. I thought Dudley was great in the locker room and would make a great assistant, I just didn't want the Lakers wasting a roster spot on him.

Young dude that can defend and shoot the 3. He can’t do much more than that which why he’d be perfect on the Lakers. How they ain’t get at the young nikka yet?
Last year was an outlier. He's a horrible shooter, main reason why the Knicks cut loose. 36% from the field for his career.

Nobody is saying he the next coming but how could u not take a flyer on him? His confidence is shot from playing in NYC but he’s a hella young dude that still has the tools. Especially as a versatile wing defender/ball handler. Lakers are missing that with Caruso gone. Why not give him a look…there’s zero risk involved.
Exactly nobody is hyping him up, but he could be a good serviceable role player.
